Poly(dipropylene glycol) phenyl phosphite is a polymeric-type phosphite antioxidant featuring high-molecular-weight structure and elevated phosphorus content. It occurs as a colourless transparent liquid under ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure.
As an efficient secondary antioxidant, it possesses superior capacity to decompose hydroperoxides (ROOH) compared with conventional phosphite substances. Synergistic effects can be achieved when combined with hindered-phenol antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers.

This polymeric phosphite antioxidant serves widely in polyvinyl-chloride production, resin preparation, rubber processing and aluminium paste manufacture.
It acts as an effective secondary antioxidant for organic polymers and is compatible with PVC, ABS, polyurethane, polycarbonate and various coating systems. During processing and long-time usage, it improves the polymers' thermal stability and colour-retention performance.
In PVC formulations, the additive undertakes several functions. It works as a secondary antioxidant, heat stabilizer and chelating agent, which greatly improves the overall performance of finished-product formulas.
