UV Absorber 326 CAS#3896-11-5

Excellent UV Protection Performance: Ultraviolet absorbers effectively block ultraviolet rays, especially within the 290–400 nm wavelength range, helping protect materials from UV damage.

Outstanding Thermal and Chemical Stability: These absorbers offer good heat resistance and chemical stability, maintaining performance during processing without decomposition, discoloration, or adverse reactions.

Enhanced Material Durability: When applied to fabrics and polymers, ultraviolet absorbers help reduce fading and improve the light fastness of polyester disperse dyes.

Good Compatibility and Processability: Ultraviolet absorbers provide excellent miscibility, allowing uniform dispersion in materials without frosting, seepage, or odor, while remaining colorless and easy to process.

Products Description of UV Absorber 326 CAS#3896-11-5

Ultraviolet absorbers are functional additives intended to block excessive ultraviolet radiation from penetrating materials. High-performance ultraviolet absorbers require superior thermal stability to retain their functionality during processing while featuring low thermal volatility. They must deliver strong ultraviolet absorption, primarily within the wavelength range of 290–400 nm. Meanwhile, they should maintain favourable chemical stability and avoid adverse interactions with other components in the substrate system.

Furthermore, ultraviolet absorbers need good compatibility and dispersibility within materials to prevent blooming or migration. The absorbers themselves are expected to have robust photochemical stability, resisting photodegradation and discoloration. Optimal UV absorbers are colourless, odourless, non-toxic, water-resistant and economically viable.

According to chemical structural differences, ultraviolet absorbers are divided into multiple types: salicylates, benzophenones, benzotriazoles, substituted acrylonitriles and triazines. Once applied to textiles, these additives achieve outstanding ultraviolet shielding capacity, mitigating colour fading and enhancing the light fastness of disperse dyes for polyester. UV Absorber UV-326 serves as a typical representative of this class of products.
