Product Description of Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5
Daminozide, also known as B9, is N-dimethylamino succinamic acid with molecular formula C6H12N2O3 and molecular weight of 160.17. The pure product is white crystalline powder, while technical grade appears off-white or pale beige fine crystals. It has slight characteristic odor, soluble in water and stable under dry room temperature conditions. Its melting point ranges from 162 °C to 164 °C.
This agrochemical acts as an effective plant growth regulator to restrain excessive vegetative growth, shorten internodes and promote flower bud differentiation.

Product Applications of Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5
Daminozide is a systemic plant growth regulator authorized for application on ornamental crops in the United States. Target varieties include chrysanthemums, poinsettias and bedding plants cultivated within greenhouse and other covered cultivation facilities.
This product suppresses internode stretching while improving plant tolerance against high temperature, drought and frost stress. It also deepens leaf colour, strengthens stalks, and accelerates blooming, encourages abundant flowers and boosts fruit set. The standard application method is foliar spraying, with usable concentrations spanning 1,500 to 10,000 ppm.
